This is the home field of the Saginaw Arthur Hill Lumberjack Football Team. The school is located about 100 yards away from my house and has looked the same since I moved to Saginaw 15 years ago. I watched the football games during the fall when I was younger.
This is Lathrup Park, located about 50 yards away from my house. I enjoyed many times here with friends playing sports and hanging out. This 120+ yard-long park serves as the centermost point for the Lathrup Park subdivision in Saginaw Twp.
After spending four years at Central Michigan University, spending my remaining time at home reminds me of how much things have changed since I left, but also how many things have stayed the same. I am starting to understand how my parents feel when they tell me about how "that was there when I was a kid". Walking around and seeing these places, the same ones that I saw when I first moved, while considering how much my life has changed since then, gives me an odd feeling. I am somewhat nostalgic, but excited to see what I make of my future.
